Coffee Basics Strikes Castlemaine Gold!

A new kind of gold has been discovered in Castlemaine courtesy of Coffee Basics. Launching Castlemaine’s very own Coffee Roastery and Kaffeehaus, Edmund Schaerf and Elna Schaerf-Trauner bring over fifty years of family tradition and skill to the art of roasting and blending. With the look, smell and feel of a European ‘kaffeehaus’ Edmund and Elna have transformed their space in former hospital in Halford St, Castlemaine.
